Narragansett High School Girls Volleyball

Coach Hummel began her interscholastic career in 2000 at
Toll Gate High School. She played 4 Varsity seasons for her
Class A South Team, assisting them to reach the State Championship Finals 2 separate times and becoming a
State Champion her sophomore year.

Being 4 year Varsity Player, in Soccer Basketball and Volleyball, lead her to earning: Team Captain, All City, All Division, All Class, All Tournament, 2nd and 1st Team All-State Honors in all 3 sports.

She went on to become a 3 sport collegiate athlete, captained her soccer team, earned All New England Honors and Graduated from RIC in 2009.

This is her first year as Head Coach of the Narragansett Girls
High School Team.

 Biography

Coach Grennan is a 1999 graduate of Toll Gate High School in Warwick, Rhode Island where she was a four-year letter winner in volleyball. As an outside hitter, she was named the Top Player in Rhode Island during her senior year. Grennan was also names First Team All-State, All City, All Division and to the Rhode Island All-Tournament Team during that same campaign.

Following graduation, she became the assistant coach with the Coventry High School women’s volleyball team from 2000-05. Ultimately moving on to coaching college volleyball as the Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach at Rhode Island College from 2005-2008.

She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and health from the University of Rhode Island in 2004. In addition to her coaching duties, Grennan is a physical education/health teacher at Narragansett Elementary School.
